Michigan ~ Friends of Jung
Michigan ~ Friends of Jung is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to presenting to the public--both lay and professional--the psychological ideas of Carl Jung. We are composed of people from all walks of life, and are dedicated to the belief that individuals are entitled to information that will aid them in increasing their self-awareness. We both welcome and encourage your interest in our web site, and invite you to visit this page often for updates on future events.

2012/2013 Michigan ~ Friends of Jung events
Ongoing study group activities for 2012 - 2013 include:
- Jungian reading group - this group is currently at maximum membership however when there is enough interest another group will be formed. Please see one of the board members to inquire.
- Jungian dream group - facilitated by Jungian analyst Cynthia Cuthbertson. There is a fee for this dream group as it involves the professional expertise of a Jungian analyst. Class size is limited. Please see Cynthia for additional information.
- Centerpoint II study program group - Centerpoint provides a context for individuals to move toward wholeness, a process C. G. Jung called “individuation.” In the words of its authors, the course offers no absolutes, but the use of models be they from the areas of myth, fairy tale, psychology or whatever, [Centerpoint] suggests that they be used as mirrors reflecting inner reality rather than as telescopes clarifying external truth. Through this kind of process, we may be able to build up a store of resources ... We hope to provide a variety of channels of expression—dialogue, individual writing, music and some creative activities as well. Centerpoint II program materials will be used. The group will meet in the Royal Oak area once a month; day and time yet to be determined. This group is near maximum group size. Please see Carolyn Lobkowicz or Cheri McLaughlin for additional information.
(Email or phone us about joining one of the study groups below.
